Environmental Policy

The environmental policy of Murphy & Kelly (Maintenance) Ltd is to encourage and develop a culture within the company of good environmental practices. At Murphy & Kelly (Maintenance) Ltd we are committed to continually improving our environmental performance by preventing pollution, reducing waste generated on our projects, striving for sustainable use of materials and increasing our efforts to minimise any environmental impacts of our business, both office and site locations.

By implementing this environmental policy, Murphy & Kelly (Maintenance) Ltd undertakes to achieve the following objectives and establish our key environmental impacts under the following headings:

• Solid Waste Generation
• Recyclable Waste Generation
• Fuel Use
• Energy Consumption

Set improvements of environmental practices and reduce the impacts of the operations of the Company by:

• Promoting awareness amongst all employees of the environmental responsibilities of the Company by providing information on the commitments, targets, and progress of the company as a whole.
• Providing training for employees and subcontractors, where appropriate, to achieve the environmental objectives and targets set by Murphy & Kelly (Maintenance) Ltd across all elements of the company's operations.
• Ensuring that suppliers, where practicable, comply with an acceptable code of environmental practice.
• Complying as a minimum with all relevant environmental requirements and relevant environmental legislation within Murphy & Kelly (Maintenance) Ltd areas of operation.
• Being good neighbours on each project and in all areas Murphy & Kelly (Maintenance) Ltd operate.
• Comply with Waste Management Plans for sites that implement them.

This policy is reviewed periodically by Senior Management, to ensure compliance with the policy and to improve the performance of Murphy & Kelly (Maintenance) Ltd with respect to environmental impacts, on a continual improvement basis.
